Misting System Maintenance
In the past, the winter months have brought freezing temperatures. While it feels nice during the day here in the desert your pipes and filter housings can still crack when the temperature drops at night. Read below to find out more about Misting System Maintenance.
Why do you need maintenance on your misting system in the Winter?
Water expands by 9% when frozen, and this can lead to burst pipes and damage to other components such as valves and filter housings. Don’t put yourself at risk for expensive surprises when starting up systems in the spring! Our technicians use compressed air to drive out any residual water in the system. This is done using a powerful compressor, and each area is blown out individually to ensure no water remains in the pipes. Please make sure the water to your system has been shut off and the lines have been purged. Doing this will avoid costly damages. If you are not in town or are unable to perform this process, please contact the office so we can send someone out to your home. Regular service rates do apply and a credit card is required to schedule service.

- Changing the pump oil
- Changing the water filters
- Flushing & purging the lines with compressed air, resetting the pump pressure
- Shut water off.
- Inspecting the entire system for leaks, damage and wear. Test switches, clean the pump, and making all necessary adjustments.
- Returning to your home in April to restart your system and make sure everything’s running properly (this visit in April is included in the above cost. Replacement nozzles are an additional $4.98 each)

Please note:
Brand new nozzles have a 30 day warranty. Your cleaned/serviced nozzles have no warranty. You will be charged at the regular service rate of $85/hr to come back out and clean your nozzles.
